It is the intention of SYR recruitment privacy policy to process any data provided to us with due care and attention as set under the Data Protection Acts of the United Kingdom. If you have any reservations regarding the processing of your data under this policy please do not submit any personal data to us.

We collect candidates personal data, e.g. name, address and  email address etc, to aid the recruitment process. By providing such information you are giving us explicit consent to process all data (including without limitation sensitive personal data) which is included within your registration (Candidate Form together with the Audio Video Recruitment Presentation (AVRP)) to aid the recruitment process in accordance with this Data Protection Policy.

Personal data will be made available only to prospective or intended employers or customers for the purpose of recruitment and staff. Staff includes employees of group companies under Sell Yourself Recruitment Ltd.. Data may be passed to companies and people other than SYR and any group of companies of which it is a part, that assist us to process data. We may also share collective/summative information with selected shared parties but we do not disclose individual names or any identifiable information. We will hold your personal data to comply with all due statutory and contractual obligations. Whilst undertaking reasonable steps to maintain correct personal data is kept up-to-date, you are duty bound to inform us of all changes to your personal data and, it is our intention to amend/delete such personal data as needed.

Following an appropriate and reasonable period time and/or following contact by us to update your data, should there be no update from you within a reasonable period of time, we reserve full rights to archive or delete your data.

Your personal data is held on a secure server and whilst we endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to use via the Internet.

Should our company enter a sale, merger or transfer of its ownership or part ownership we reserve the right to transfer information to third parties provided they adhere to our privacy policy provided above.

Terminology

You: Those who use our website to register their personal details with the sole purpose of recruitment i.e. acquire employment or recruitment of staff.
